B's are out, W's are in

Welcome to my sub-forum for pretty much anything else. When I’m no longer sequestered by the bounds of institutional education, I find myself free to plot my diabolical schemes for world conquest. As they arise, I’ll post any thoughts I have here for the consumption of you my loyal subjects.

B's are out, W's are in

Post by mightymulhern »

Sydney's speech is continuing to evolve and the amount of baby talk hasn't slowed down at all.

Initially she was doing a lot of "Uh", "Guh", and "Gug" type sounds.

Then she moved on to sounds like "Uh", "Bah", and "Buh". Some of those were crazy with lots of facial expressions and vocal inflection.

For instance, "BAH!" *Slaps had on floor* while giving Meghan a serious look. At that point though the G's were pretty much dropped entirely.

The last few days, we seem to have moved onto W's and perhaps some R's. The sounds would be "Uh", "Wuh", "Wah", and "Ruh". For instance, Uh Wuh Ruh wuh wuh. Or Wah wah wah. "Wah wah wah" sounds like baby talk for water except Sydney has no idea what water is by name so that can't actually be what she's saying.
