The fish are pretend

This morning we had to take Rowan back to the lab for yet another blood test to check his bilirubin level. Sydney really wanted to come for some reason so we all went.
At the lab, there is a fish tank in the waiting room. Sydney has always been afraid of fish. For some reason, she thinks they will get out and somehow get her.
Today, Meghan asked her if she was afraid of the fish. She said, "No. The fish aren't real. They're pretend."
So we've now gone from being afraid of the fish to not being afraid of the fish because they aren't real. That's a step... I'm not sure what direction it's a step in, but it's a step.
